Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of comfort and slight drawbacks. The rooms were so comfy and clean, overlooking the Professional Golf Course with the Pacific Ocean in the background. However, if you're with kids and prefer joined rooms, that might not be ideal. There was a musty smell in the room too.
The hotel had some mixed points with dark rooms in need of a refresh and cigarette smells, but the service was efficient and lovely. The location was very nice but had limited in-room dining options, and the valet service was disappointing. The dining experience was tasty and varied, and the facilities were overall satisfactory.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, but unfortunately, my view was just a fence with shrubs behind it. Being right next to the bar was convenient but could also be noisy at times.
The hotel is set in a very nice La Jolla area, providing stunning views of the Pacific and the famous Golf course. Although somewhat isolated for access to restaurants and attractions, it stands out as THE HOTEL when in SAN DIEGO. The rooms were somewhat noisy and had hairs on the ceiling, but the service was extremely accommodating despite a small hiccup during checkout. The dining was a bit pricey but filled with delicious options. The facilities overlooked the Pacific and offered a luxurious experience.
